Responsibilities
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
Collaborate with customers and coworkers to develop strategies to increase business opportunities.
Develop and implement data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Identify and lead projects necessary to fill data gaps by working with IT personnel to ingest, present and validate new data acquisitions.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Create graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.
Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients.
Create dashboards, executive summaries and storyboards for external clients that define ROI.
Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data to identify trends and business needs.
Measure the effectiveness of completed objectives month over month and recommend new strategies to improve business performance.
Structure large data sets to find usable information.
Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information.
Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
Work with business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement.
Validate, correct and recommend improvements for data cleansing/data accuracy.
Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Performs other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management or a related field
2-5 years experience as a Data Analyst or similar role at a CPG company
Ability to transform data into insightful and actionable information
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with SharePoint and Office 365 apps
Experience with reporting/analytical systems. Experience with Cognos is a plus
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at report writing and presenting findings to internal and external executives
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter, able to manage tight deadlines and multiple priorities
