Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and improve IT security tools and services.

Work to harden IT applications, endpoints, workstations, SaaS services, and networks.

Assist in responding to security incidents on Datadog’s IT infrastructure.

Collaborate with other Datadog teams in the development and implementation of new security policies, standards, and procedures.

Be a security subject matter expert within the Datadog IT program.

Required

Strong understanding of IT systems, security operations and security concepts.

Experienced working in core project languages like Python or Golang.

Experienced working in cloud computing environments such as AWS, GCP or Azure.

Familiarity with serverless programming paradigms and securing IaaS with tools such as Terraform.

Experience with IT security services and applications for endpoint security, threat and anomalous detection, EDR, XDR.

Have participated in complex threat hunting or incident response processes through multiple interconnected systems.

Great at verbal and written communications.
