Responsibilities

Use statistical analyses to evaluate scenarios and make predictions on future outcomes to solve complex business problems and support decision making.

Develop, validate, and execute algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns, and recommend solutions.

Explore, examine, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms.

Perform analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve business problems using advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses.

Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data that helps generate insights and addresses reporting needs.

Organize, collect, and standardize data visualization techniques to communicate analytical results, generate insights, address reporting results, and support business decisions.

Evaluate the data needs of assigned projects and assure the integrity of the data.

Work on existing data and recommend additional sources of data for improvements.

Document projects, including business objectives, data gathering and processing, and detailed set of results and analytical metrics.

Required

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation

Two (2) years of experience with Teradata, Oracle RDBMS, or PostgreSQL

Two (2) years of experience with R and Python

Two (2) years of experience with Unix or Shell scripting

Two (2) years of experience with implementing extract, transform and load (ETL) automation

Two (2) years of experience with SAS or SQL

Two (2) years of experience with running linear, generalized linear, and non-linear mixed-effects models to analyze data generated from varied design structures
