Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles for secure processes
Coordinate with clients to design and set up Kubernetes or Docker solutions
Participate in the construction of CI/CD pipelines for timely software delivery

Required
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Docker, assisting in setting up clusters
Experience building Gitlab CI/CD pipeline templates and jobs
Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., shell scripting, Python, or other scripting languages)
Implement and improve development and security best practices by building necessary CICD pipeline jobs (Linting, SCA, SAST, Vulnerability scanning)
Proven experience in software systems development via CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab Pipelines)
Exposure in Agile, DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies, practices, and culture
Problem-solving aptitude
Experience with designing and implementing enterprise-grade, scalable cloud-based services to support our development teams
Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools such as PLG/Splunk/ELK
Experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration
Experience writing Unit/Integration/e2e testing (e.g., Junit, Cypress, Selenium)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
Obtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with Raft
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Preferred
Experience with implementing Sigstore and Cosign to sign container images as well as SBOMs
Experience with hardening application containers
Proven experience with Istio service mesh
Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#
Passionate about automation, system efficiency, and security
Certifications such as CKA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
Remote (Local to San Antonio, TX highly preferred)
May require up to 10% travel
