Responsibilities
Program management of multiple OEM initiatives related to Technician recruiting and retention, including coordination with different departments and external partners.
Development of relationships with OEM departments and internal MSX resources to improve Technician recruiting and retention.
Coordination with corporate careers program leads, rewards and recognition team, Warranty and Engineering departments, Tech Mentorship programs, trade school partnerships, public relations efforts, Technician Training team, and more.
Leadership of client meetings and presentations, creation of program materials, and implementation of technician soft-skills model.
Promotion and support of OEM’s LMS to schools with automotive programs, dealership consulting, and attending Technician Recruiting & Retention Events.
Qualification
Required
Background in / understanding of the world of a retail technician (OEM or Aftermarket)
Understanding of the drivers of success and workplace satisfaction for Technicians
Experience in a client-facing role
Highly detail-oriented with strong program / project management skills
Strong organization skills and ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a highly dynamic environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and resourceful when conducting research for future initiatives
Strong MS Office experience (Word, PPT, Excel, Teams)
Education: Degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Preferred
Technician experience at a dealership is preferred
Knowledge and experience of vehicle diagnosis and repairs is preferred
