Responsibilities
Work as a member of a cross-functional team to deliver business critical applications of high function and technical quality.
Collaborate closely with product owners and quality assurance to create software fulfilling business needs.
Quickly learn new business domains and work effectively in a team environment.
Deliver high quality, maintainable software to the business.
Contribute to LINQ’s Workflow and Form Engine, a backbone of numerous school district processes nationwide.
Participate in building a fully customizable workflow product and rich digital and paper forms experience.
Qualification
Required
At least 6+ years of experience in Software Application Development
6+ Years of Java experience building backend http services
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent working experience
Strong understanding of non-relational and relational database systems
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
A proven track record of building and shipping highly available and scalable production HTTP Web Services
Experience designing and documenting APIs
AWS cloud platform with server-based and serverless infrastructure
Infrastructure-as-a-service (CloudFormation Preferred)
Strong TypeScript or JavaScript (ES6) skills
Experience with unit testing and test-driven development
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Strong belief in and use of best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Collaborate with teams to clarify design and implementation while meeting project needs
