Responsibilities
Support downstream management of the existing product portfolio to drive growth and increase market share.
Analyze product, market, sales, usage, and clinical trends to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Support new product development organization for upstream new product introduction processes.
Provide support to execute launch plans for new products including forecasting product demand, establishing pricing, defining product positioning, organizing a rollout plan, conducting sales team and surgeon training, and developing marketing collateral.
Develop annual sales and marketing strategies to drive product usage.
Act as a communication conduit between home office functions and the sales team, ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate flow of information.
Provide sales support for questions related to product, clinical, promotional, and competitive information.
Support electronic-based training for internal and external customers.
Support sales training materials for in-house and regional training classes.
Attend tradeshows, workshops, and labs to represent the company and support new product initiatives.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree with 0-3 years of experience required. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
Medical device experience preferred.
Strong analytical / quantitative skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrated strength in interdepartmental partnering and team management, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and strong PC skills (excel, power point).
Ability to create and develop a marketing communications plan/strategy for assigned product scope.
Ability to effectively organize presentations to explain marketing strategy to stakeholders.
Ability to be detailed oriented and drive to meet deadlines.
The ability to work in and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
The ability to translate vision into actionable items.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Effective written and oral communication skills are required.
Strong organization, prioritization and time management skills.
Detailed understanding of legal, compliance and regulatory requirements for assigned product scope.
