Responsibilities
Work within the scope of program’s strategic goals.
Act independently on assigned tasks and exercise independent judgment based on analysis and experience, referring difficult questions and unusual problems to supervisor.
Coordinate projects with several variables, working within a defined timeline and budget.
Demonstrate sensitivity in handling confidential information.
Perform analysis, research and follow-through as directed.
Developing large, complex procurement/supplier data sets.
Transforming data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their supplier data and procurement spend requirements.
Work with financial reporting software to deliver management reporting.
Ensure compliance with Conservancy policies and procedures.
Financial responsibility includes purchasing, processing invoices, and assisting with budget preparation.
May act as a resource to others to solve problems and act in supervisor’s stead when instructed.
May supervise administrative and/or volunteer staff, including training and professional development.
Provide input through project teams for the improvement of existing programs.
Travel and work flexible hours as needed.
Work environment involves only infrequent exposure to disagreeable elements and minor physical exertion and/or strain; and
Work is diversified and may not always fall under established practices and guidelines.
Qualification
Required
Understanding of business finance, procurement, supplier management lifecycle.
Experience with fleet management and/or travel data and reporting.
Ability to analyze information for the purpose of coordinating and planning activities, and problem solving.
Analyze spend data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and compliance.
Create and maintain procurement reports and dashboards.
Ability to use existing technology to achieve desired results.
Excellent customer service skills and focus.
Experience interpreting guidelines to achieve desired results.
Knowledge of current trends in finance, supply chain, third-party risk; and/or environmental non-profit sectors.
Strong organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Experience in using Microsoft Power BI software or comparable advanced reporting software.
Experience in using Workday software, Finance modules or comparable Enterprise Resource Planning software.
Experience using analytical skills to research & identify data anomalies, errors, or understand emerging trends.
Experience designing reports and presenting analysis to various levels of an organization, including senior management.
Certificate in supply chain management or logistics.
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience or equivalent combination.
Experience analyzing large data sets.
Experience generating reports and interpreting data.
Experience in business writing, editing, and proof-reading.
Experience organizing time and managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
Experience working across teams and communicating with a wide range of people.
Experience in Microsoft Office365 applications especially Word and Excel.
Preferred
Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experiences are appreciated.
