Responsibilities
Conduct research and deconstruct users’ digital interactions and habits
Come up with UI and UX strategies based on target goals
Create and maintain digital assets like interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mockups
Design, build, and maintain reusable JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code
Provide technical advice considering tech stack limitations and business model

Required
Bachelor's Degree and 8 to 10 years of experience (in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 6 additional years of relevant experience)
Experience working and developing applications in modern JavaScript libraries such as Vue, React, and Angular
A portfolio or live examples of code produced
Knowledge of pre-processors/transpilers such as PUG/SCSS/Babel
Experience working with NodeJS
Experience with GIT and familiarity with code versioning practices on large teams, i.e., branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, etc.
Proficient with image authoring tools like Photoshop or Illustrator
Proficient with wireframing/design tools like Mock Plus, Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
A portfolio that demonstrates both JavaScript proficiency and understanding of SOLID design principles (plugins, node packages, etc.)
Expert knowledge of CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS preprocessor tools
Expert knowledge of HTML5 and its best practices
Proficiency in designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using (Sketch, InVision, Axure, etc)
Proficiency in using Git version control
Proficiency using the command line
Preferred
Experience as a front-end developer
Experience as a UI/UX designer
Experience writing semantic-accessible HTML and CSS (Flex/Grid/CSS Custom Properties/CSS Functions/Scalable CSS) utilizing BEM naming methodology
Experience writing/working with modern JavaScript (ESNext), including working with features such as Module Syntax and native Web Components
Experience with C# or .NET technologies would be helpful but not required
