Responsibilities

Plan, guide and coordinate work related to data science tools (Databricks, Spark, Jupyter, R, Machine Learning, AI) and cloud-based data science support including cloud-based SQL and non-SQL server.

Provide expertise in machine learning, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, data science programming languages, genomics workflows, object-oriented design principles, MS Azure Delta Lake, Databricks, Kubernetes, statistical and analytical procedures, and trend analysis.

Design schemas/data structures, use unified modeling language, sampling methodologies, modern data visualization technologies, develop complex analytic applications, manage large datasets, produce statistical data, conduct quality control, design reproducible data processing and analysis.

Assist with entering and maintaining data in health information systems monitoring databases and provide analysis of data.

Required

Extensive knowledge of Business Intelligence Systems and analyses methodologies

Previous experience with file repositories, with an understanding of enterprise-wide systems is desired

Change management, and community engagement

Proven functional and process analysis and design skills sufficient to handle complex, enterprise-wide projects with multiple stakeholders

Proficiency with MS Office such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Strong analytical thinking for requirements analysis and process specifications

A master's degree or bachelor’s plus 2 years relevant experience, or associate’s + 4 years relevant experience, Nursing, Pharmacy, or Laboratory Science, or a BS in Computer Science, Health Information Management, Information System, Informatics, Public Health, Business Administration, or equivalent area
