Responsibilities

Perform as a mid-level Software Engineer using modern C++ for development of Radio Frequency (RF) emitter products and solutions

Assist in the designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs and software-intensive systems

Assist in supporting and/or installing software applications

Participate in the prototype testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, certification of software, and provide inputs for documentation

Required

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science and at least five years' work related experience or a Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science and three years' work related experience or a Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills

Must have a good working knowledge of object oriented design (OOD) principles and general software design concepts

Must have a good understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, and operating system concepts

Must have good written and verbal communication skills

Must have some familiarity of parallelism, concurrency, or threading in a distributed environment

Must have some familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and practices

Must be comfortable developing software in a Linux-based environment

This position will require U.S. citizenship as well as a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level
