Responsibilities

Managing the Support operation team that focuses on Tier 1 – 4 escalation issues.
Collaborate in a managed services support team environment that serves as the first line of support for thousands of downstream data and reporting consumers and performs initial triage and troubleshooting of incidents, along with monitoring and ensuring the quality and timeliness of the root cause analysis (RCA) process.
Provide technical direction, guidance and escalation related to incidents/problem management.
Communicate results and findings to impacted users, including senior leadership.
Lead in understanding and analysis of frequent issues, their impact and recommend actionable steps towards and resolution.
Supporting Senior BIE leaders in ad-hoc projects. Expert working knowledge of T-SQL, data warehousing and data management concepts.
Expert working knowledge in Azure ecosystems like data bricks, ADF, Power Automate and reporting technologies like SSRS and Power BI
Designing, building, and deploying BI Solutions (e.g., reporting tools).
Developing complex visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
Expert working knowledge of performance monitoring, file-tuning, and optimization of Dashboards, understanding of Power BI security implementations.
Collaborating with teams to integrate systems and solutions.
Expert in building quick POCs (proof of concepts) around newer more effective technologies for the team.
Documenting development efforts as required by change management practices.
Strong communication skills
Good team player with strong technical skills.
Implementing the best practices and coding standards of the project.
Quickly eliminate technical roadblocks across various engineering functions.
Can take effective independent decisions.
Expert working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Effective and timely visibility of true project status to senior management

Required

Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
3 to 5 years experience developing, designing, optimizing reports and dashboards with Power BI (with M, SQL, DAX language proficiency)
Proficiency in SQL concepts such as extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources. Also, a solid understanding of relational databases and data warehouses
Proficiency in Azure DevOps for managing CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated deployments. Ability to collaborate with development teams and streamline the development lifecycle
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and derive meaningful insights. this involves working with complex datasets and crafting compelling narratives from the data
Strong communication, organizational, planning, problem solving, judgment, and research skills

Preferred
