Responsibilities

Design, implement, test and document features that make storage accounts more secure for customers.

Improve existing design and code, find solutions to complex problems in a highly scalable distributed environment.

Participate in security reviews to identify and mitigate risks, including design reviews, code reviews, and fuzzing.

Provide high-quality feedback in design reviews, code reviews, and team activities.

Work collaboratively with the team and promote a positive influence.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#, Windows, PowerShell, Python or .NET

2+ years of experience in developing with C#/C++/Windows

2+ years of experience with multi-threaded/parallel programming and building scalable, distributed services

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, OR Python

OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

Passion for security, engineering and development skills required including C#/.NET with proven ability to plan, schedule and deliver quality software

2+ years of experiences with Security domain and architecture
