Responsibilities
Utilize commercial Finite Element Analysis and numerical modeling tools, with a preference for Abaqus, to perform implicit and explicit analysis of mechanical systems.
Model typical reliability test conditions of consumer electronics such as drop and shock.
Work on modeling advanced materials including glass, ceramic, plastic, polymers, and adhesives.
Qualification
Required
5+ years experience using commercial Finite Element Analysis and numerical modeling tools, Abaqus preferred
5+ years experience with implicit and explicit analysis of mechanical systems
Familiar with modeling typical reliability test conditions of consumer electronics such as drop and shock
Hands-on experience with modeling advanced materials, for example glass, ceramic, plastic, polymers, and adhesives
FEA: 5 years (Required)
