Responsibilities
Support the development of system test solutions. Prepare and execute comprehensive system/element level test plans, procedures, and test events. Participate in integrated testing activities.
Document test requirements and methodologies.
Review system engineering documentation to ensure test plans and methodologies meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, consistent, and complete.
Support the development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software/hardware system integration testing.
Monitor system performance trends and identify potential issues. Suggest opportunities for improvement.
Qualification
Required
Active DoD Secret Level Clearance
6+ years of experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering, or related discipline
Experience with the Agile or Scrum development methodology
Experience conducting both functional and non-functional testing
Experience working as part of a software development team
Experience testing back-end and front-end components
Experience with troubleshooting issues and working closely with developers
Experience with testing a large system, made up of several microservices/ modules
Testing software in a distributed networking environment
Experience working with Agile Development Practices
Experience with Atlassian tool suite including JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Preferred
Experience with Windows, Linux, and Virtual Machines
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter, or the python language
Preferred experience with Department of Defense Command and Control Systems
