Responsibilities

Participates in the development and implementation of information security policies and procedures; develops security guidelines and safe practices for company-wide computing and networking systems.

Demonstrates experience with cloud services and understands the pitfalls and potential security problems with traditional cloud deployments.

Ensures both preventative and detective security controls in the cloud environments.

Coordinates the handling and resolution of security breach incidents, including system intrusions and abuse, and acts as a primary point of contact.

Assists with defining cloud security standards in a multi-cloud environment.

Responds to and evaluates alerts and events from security tools.

Performs threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and system audit reviews.

Provides expert advice on risk assessment, threat modeling, and fixing vulnerabilities.

Designs, implements, and supports security-focused tools and services.

Required

5+ years in the information security field

Experience in implementing and supporting information security policies and procedures and security practices for company-wide computing and networking systems.

Experience handling and resolving incidents of security breaches, including system intrusions and abuse; acts as a primary point of contact.

Hands-on experience with CNAPP, protecting cloud-native workloads across multiple cloud providers.

Experience with cloud security posture management tooling

Experience supporting information security design concepts, including testing and implementation of security software enhancements.

Experience and knowledge of implementing and managing Enterprise PKI infrastructure.

Experience and knowledge of the implementation and administering of encryption solutions.

Experience and knowledge of industry IDS/IPS, logging, vulnerability, monitoring, firewall technology, wireless security, Anti-virus protection, OS patching, data loss prevention, and SIEM technology and solutions.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance regulations such as NIST, SAN, ISO, SOX, PCI, and PII

Must be able to interact with other teams across the organization effectively.

Ability to manage multiple tasks along a parallel process.
