Responsibilities
You will meet users to learn about their needs and test the usability of designs.
You'll work closely with product management to interpret data on user behaviors and incorporate conclusions into future designs.
You'll design experiences that solve complex workflows and interaction with elegance and simplicity—removing the extraneous, driving users to the next step and shortening the path to 'Wow!'.
You'll analyze user interfaces and experience problems and create design solutions that address user needs while meeting business requirements.
You'll produce process flows, storyboards, wireframes and other artifacts required to develop and evolve the overall user experience.
You'll collaborate, present and build consensus around designs with stakeholders in business and engineering teams.
Qualification
Required
Smart, passionate, multi-talented Product Designer with strong user experience and user interface design skills
Desire to go deep in understanding users
Comfortable solving problems with high levels of ambiguity
Experience in simplifying highly technical problems in elegant ways
Experience in meeting users to learn about their needs and test the usability of designs
Ability to work closely with product management to interpret data on user behaviors
Design experiences that solve complex workflows and interactions with elegance and simplicity
Analyze user interfaces and experience problems and create design solutions
Produce process flows, storyboards, wireframes, and other artifacts for user experience development
Collaborate, present, and build consensus around designs with stakeholders
Passionate about building and improving tools that people use in their workday
Proven ability to build experiences for and understand complex problems
Confident in quantitative and qualitative research and usability testing skills
UX designer who loves to learn, solve challenges, and enjoys challenging others
Advocate for the customer and enthusiastic about building and iterating on designs
Understand how to collaborate within a team and across an organization to solve product and customer problems
Facilitate design exploration and discovery process
Fluent at communicating with product managers and developers
Influencing the team to simplify, integrate, and co-create successful customer experiences
BA in design, human-computer interaction, a related degree, or equivalent UX/product design experience
5+ years of experience in UX, with 3 years in SaaS products
