Responsibilities
Inventory Monitoring: Regularly monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained while minimizing excess inventory.
Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and anticipate potential inventory shortages or excesses.
Auditing: Conduct regular audits of inventory records to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Inventory Reconciliation: Reconcile physical inventory counts with system records and investigate any discrepancies.
Reporting: Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and inventory performance metrics for management review.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline inventory management processes and implement efficiency improvements.
Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to coordinate inventory activities and ensure alignment with production schedules and customer demands.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff involved in inventory management to ensure adherence to best practices and procedures.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate inventory management practices and systems to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of inventory control procedures, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Due to onsite/offsite storage, up to 10% local travel is required.
Preferred
Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft D365, for inventory management.
Experience in implementing process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
