Responsibilities
Provide on-site support to DevOps by developing and testing software tools within a containerized environment using open-source software.
Possess proficiency in Linux, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Rook, Ansible, JIRA, GitLab, and CI/CD Pipelines.
Install, test, configure, and support COTS/GOTS.
Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications.
Demonstrate general technical knowledge of compute, network, memory, and storage system components.
Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and automation tools.
Administer and monitor Kubernetes clusters.
Execute test codes for software performance characterization.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college or university
Active DoD-issued Secret security clearance
Proficiency in Linux, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Rook, Ansible, JIRA, GitLab, and CI/CD Pipelines
Mandatory certifications such as Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA, or GSEC
2-5 years of experience installing, testing, configuring, and supporting COTS/GOTS
Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications
General technical knowledge of compute, network, memory, and storage system components
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and automation tools
Ability to administer and monitor Kubernetes clusters
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to switch between various architectural paradigms
Ability to execute test codes for software performance characterization
