Responsibilities
Understanding and managing the optimal portfolio of products, identifying gaps, and constant cleansing via SKU rationalization.
Managing ongoing pricing strategy and supporting inventory investment plans.
Managing the New Idea Funnel, identifying and evaluating new product and business ideas, creating business plans and market strategies for new products.
Creating a 1 & 3+ year category strategy, managing growth activities, conceiving and creating thought leadership and educational content.
Initiating, managing, and optimizing lead-gen activities including trade conferences, webcasts, email marketing, and SEM.
Improving Margin metrics achieved via Pricing Actions and COG improvements.
Keeping surveillance on internal and external category activities, competitive evaluation of market dynamics, and monitoring monthly, quarterly business rhythms.
Actively executing optimization strategies.

Required
3+ years of product or category management experience
College degree required, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Healthcare
Brand/Category Management
Advanced Degree preferred
Medical device experience/Clinical Experience preferred
Portfolio Management across multiple categories preferred
Preferred
Experience in designing and executing marketing and communications programs
Strong Business and financial acumen with ever-growing curiosity
Strike the difficult but important balance between being Creative and Analytical
Self-motivated and thrives when asked to assume responsibility
Experienced with manipulating and analyzing large sets of data
Expert Microsoft Excel capabilities, specifically with pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, etc.
