Responsibilities

Support the matching of caregivers with clients and the system of record for care services.

Facilitate the creation and management of visits, associating key data with visits.

Answer important questions related to caregiver availability and optimal assignments for clients.

Support vertical user flows for schedule and calendar management, as well as APIs for visit details and caregiver availability.

Collaborate with data science for system-optimized caregiver assignments at scale.

Guide and execute short- and long-term architecture goals for the Care Platform.

Required

Thrive in a diverse, cross-functional team, collaborating with design, product management, data, and care operations

Enjoy building clean interfaces and connecting them to backend services

Built and maintained production-grade features in Python, or have transferable experience in common languages like Node.js and are willing to learn Python

Design relational database models and have used a relational database at scale

Been a key contributor to the design and implementation of large, complex projects

Comfortable working in and refactoring legacy, monolithic code

Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing

Experience building distributed systems and cloud services like AWS, GCP

Willing to participate in an on-call rotation in collaboration with our tier 1 support team (about 7 days per quarter)

Preferred

Worked at a technology startup

Experience working with an RPC architecture

Knowledgeable about microservice architecture and best practices

Comfortable with frontend development and have experience with JavaScript frameworks like React

Experience leveraging observability and monitoring tools like DataDog

Enjoy mentoring and spreading knowledge to other engineers
