Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing, public relations, and communications strategies, including social media, print, digital content, and email marketing.

Develop relationships with sponsors to assist in meeting fundraising goals.

Optimize brand awareness, fundraising, and engagement through digital assets like the website and social media channels.

Proactively identify and communicate organizational news, events, and stories to the media.

Ensure accuracy and updates on third-party websites presenting Nate’s Honor information.

Develop and maintain internal and external communications plans, ensuring consistent messaging through various channels.

Identify marketing communication opportunities and develop strategies in collaboration with the Executive Director.

Oversee the development and maintenance of signage programs, promotional materials, and marketing communications.

Support events through marketing materials, PR, and on-site needs to enhance participation and fundraising.

Represent Nate’s Honor at professional and community events.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required

Minimum of five (5) years of related marketing experience with proven success in developing and implementing multi-faceted marketing campaigns with direct positive impact to the organization’s goals. Knowledge of the industry of animal rescue or nonprofit marketing a strong plus.

Excellent public speaking skills.

Experienced in managing comprehensive strategic marketing and communications activities, including media relations, print and digital marketing campaigns, social media content creation and management, website management, and overseeing the design and production of print materials.

Outstanding writing and editing skills.

Ability to work independently and responsibly while managing numerous projects simultaneously.

Position requires some nights and weekends as related to special events and activities.
