Responsibilities

Develop Piping construction documents using architectural and equipment background layouts and system performance requirements defined by the project leadership team

Assist in mentoring interns and less experienced designers in piping activities

Coordinate and lead a team of designers in multiple High-Value Engineering Centers

Design projects in compliance with engineering codes, standards, principles, relevant specifications, and contractual requirements

Perform clash detection reviews and facilitate space management meetings

Assist in providing technical expertise for studies and design efforts

Perform site surveys, as-built, and material take-off (MTO)

Other duties as assigned

Required

8+ years of experience

High School Diploma or GED required

Good time management skills, strong work ethic and attention to details

Proficient in the use of Autodesk Building Systems Software

Individual must possess strong communication and organizational skills

Strong team player with an ability to build effective working relationships

Energetic and self-motivated

Ability to effectively lead others

Ability to interpret construction and vendor documents

Intermediate knowledge in understanding Process, Structural, I&C, Electrical & Mechanical documents

Preferred

Associates degree with technical focus preferred

Advance field and plant site experience
