Responsibilities

Lead the development of the travel-as-a-service platform, focusing on API-first solutions to meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Create a seamless integration process for third-parties leveraging the technology to build their travel offerings.

Build tools for travel management companies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Oversee the design and implementation of scalable and secure API architectures for mission-critical systems.

Develop a payments infrastructure for global fund transfers between systems and countries.

Engage with current and prospective customers to understand priorities and partnership opportunities.

Lead, manage, and coach a team of Product Managers, fostering continuous feedback and career development.

Required

10+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a SaaS or technology product environment - startup and travel experience are a plus.

Proven experience developing and launching API-first product offerings, with a deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and developer experience best practices.

In-depth knowledge of payments processing systems, including payment gateways, merchant accounts, and PCI compliance requirements.

Experience leading geographically diverse teams to success through clear communication, alignment, and effective people management strategies.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Willingness to take on a player/coach leadership role and roll up your sleeves.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Ability to navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions under pressure, considering trade-offs and risks to achieve optimal outcomes.

Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable product initiatives, balancing short-term needs with long-term objectives.

Ability to work from our New York City office in a hybrid structure - this is not a remote eligible position
