Responsibilities

Develop deep understanding of consumer audience and their experiences whether positive, negative or neutral, in the pursuit of better sleep and breathing
Connect multiple data sources to assemble the most complete picture available to us of the consumer’s journey and experience, mapping what they THINK, FEEL and DO at various stages
Identify knowledge gaps in our understanding of consumers and patients and advise on whether these need to be solved for, and if so, how?
Partner and collaborate with broad and varied colleagues both inside and outside of marketing, to close any high-impact knowledge gaps and build a more complete picture and understanding of the consumer
Continually build our knowledge of ‘moments that matter’ and develop an ever-evolving content strategy that nudges, encourages and incentivizes consumers to take action
Translate this intimate consumer knowledge to tangible and actionable communications that speak to specific segments within the consumer audience, compelling them to take action and empowering them to further their healthcare journey in a manner that suits them
Champion the voice of the consumer across the entire business, ensuring that our organizational empathy and understanding of this audience is progressing at a pace that matches the growth potential of this new area for ResMed
Develop our patient community engagement strategy and identify how to partner with patient interest groups to ensure they and their members are informed of the latest
Support consumer marketing efforts for pilots and experimentation in new areas within innovation and transformation teams including emerging areas and technologies, segments and partnerships

Required

Deep consumer audience understanding preferably from health consumer space, and a desire to build out this area within ResMed
Experience crafting a view of consumer experiences (THINK/FEEL/DO) from disparate data sources, drawing value from combined insights
Understanding of content marketing strategy and how to drive measurable impact in this space
Experience driving consumer engagement through campaigns, partnerships and communities, both online and offline
Excellent collaboration skills and broad general understanding of wider marketing disciplines
