Responsibilities
Partnering with development teams to enhance software skills and implement test automation best practices.
Influencing and collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
Researching and advocating for new tools and approaches to benefit the organization.
Promoting Agile and DevOps practices to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
Maintaining a shift-left, continuous testing mindset to detect defects early in the development process.
Architecting software test patterns and practices with a focus on automated testing.
Serving as a subject matter expert on Test Automation and providing guidance to team members.
Conforming with company policies and procedures.

Required
Software development expertise in one or more high level programming languages with developed language agility to move easily from one product to another
Expertise defining and designing test automation patterns and practices as the foundation for achieving high quality and speed to market, while verifying business requirements are met
Proficient at integrating test automation practices and related controls with CI/CD pipelines
Experience working in Agile Scrum teams with demonstrated success leading improvements (getting better/faster/happier)
Ability to implement testing capabilities across mobile, web, and API service levels as applicable to the product team
Ability to lead by example and inspire passion and enthusiasm within the team
Champions and executes strategies across teams that deliver measurable business value
Demonstrates mastery of software languages, architecture, design, and testing capabilities; is perceived by most as the expert
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent practical experience required
7-10 years software development experience required
2-4 years experience leading multi-developer projects required
Preferred
2-4 years as a lead and/or subject matter expert
