Responsibilities
Conducting technical assessment of functional safety and RAS solutions.
Working with Synopsys' customers to understand their implementation requirements for functional safety.
Defining technical requirement specifications needed to make the solution complete, robust and/or competitive.
Collaborating with Technical Marketing Engineers to prioritize enhancements for product teams.
Collaborating with internal product development teams to ensure that enhancements meet original requirements.
Collaborate with product validation engineers to ensure that enhancements are validated and delivered with high quality to customers.
Work with Field Application Engineers to deploy functional safety solutions.
Deliver collaterals such as training, reference methodology, and application notes to share best practices and recommended usage.

Required
BSEE or MSEE with minimum 10 years of experience in SoC back-end design, including expert user of EDA tools for implementation, physical verification, formal verification and signoff.
Strong motivation to improve semiconductor functional safety.
Functional safety certification (ISO26262) is desired.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Unix/Linux user knowledge and scripting skills (Python, Tcl, Shell) are required.
Preferred
3-5 years of experience in functional safety domain is preferred, including knowledge in functional safety mechanisms deployed on IPs or SoC designs to detect and prevent failures.
Experience using ISO26262 products developed for semiconductors in automotive domain is preferred.
