Responsibilities
Leading substation design projects in accordance with Worley design standards and client requirements
Ensuring compliance with all HSE procedures and documenting HSE requirements
Managing client relationships, including identifying, documenting, and communicating client requirements
Effectively managing multiple stakeholders and maintaining healthy client relationships
Managing Worley/Client contract and project planning, resource, financial requirements, design, procurement, and construction activities
Planning and preparing accurate project estimates, monitoring and controlling project costs
Defining project quality requirements, ensuring compliance with Worley policies and procedures
Providing clear and focused leadership for the project team, mentoring staff, and participating in staff performance evaluations
Ensuring accurate and timely progress reporting to clients and Worley management
Identifying project risks and opportunities, monitoring closure of identified risks and opportunities

Required
Minimum 6 years of experience in substation design
Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills
Sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements
Ability to formulate project scope documents, establish budgets, estimate project costs, and create and maintain schedules
Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite
Leading and supporting multi-discipline teams on substation projects
Substantial technical and practical experience in electrical engineering in the same or similar industry
Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites or conferences
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States or willingness to apply for license
