Responsibilities

Conduct trade studies, establish hardware requirements, design mechanical components using CAD tools, and initiate procurement of automated manufacturing process equipment

Manage characterization, qualification, and acceptance testing of in-house material and machine prototyping

Collaborate cross-functionally with other subsystem engineers, providing DfX expertise to all product design teams

Support digital manufacturing initiatives by simulating production equipment digital twin's and IIoT device integrations

Create process documentation and lead operator training of manufacturing equipment

Develop plant transformation plans for brownfield and greenfield sites

Apply project management skills (schedule, cost, communications) and coordination of internal and external resources to execute projects in a timely and cost-effective manner
