Responsibilities
Support CobbFendley Project Managers and Engineers with engineering study and design tasks for various projects.
Represent CobbFendley at client meetings and assist with client coordination.
Assist Office Manager with local marketing efforts to build and maintain existing and new client relationships.
Participate in professional organizations to promote CobbFendley.
Assist with Project Management as a task leader including directing other staff
Mentoring junior traffic engineering staff
Apply technical knowledge and be able to work with a project team on conventional and unconventional projects.
Training to meet company safety standards.
Work in a safe and efficient manner at all times.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Civil (or Electrical) Engineering from program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering Technology (EAC/ABET) required.
Must have or be in pursuit of E.I.T. certification, with plans to pursue Professional Licensure.
Desire to work in the Traffic Department.
Desire to work on TXDOT roadway and traffic design and learn to execute plans, specifications, and estimates.
Basic knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD, Microstation and Bentley ORD.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Motivation to work in a dynamic environment with strict deadlines.
Desire to collaborate with professionals and clients to increase your industry knowledge and grow in your career.
Commitment to perform responsibilities consistent with industry standards to achieve department and company goals.
Interest in developing relationships with clients, partners, and local organizations to remain a trusted resource in the community.
