Responsibilities
Design simple and complex bridges primarily of concrete and steel construction
Design a variety of transportation related structures such as retaining walls, culverts, and sign structures
Develop Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) packages
Conduct field inspections and perform construction design support services

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited 4-year engineering college
5+ years of experience in bridge and retaining wall projects
Experience designing transportation related structures projects to Caltrans and local agency standards
Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications with Caltrans Amendments
Preference for knowledge of CTBridge, CSiBridge, VBent, CTAbut, LPile, and/or similar analysis programs
Proficiency using CADD (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred)
Strong leadership skills and desire to deliver the highest quality projects to our clients
Proficient in MS Office (WORD and EXCEL)
Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check
Preferred
Master’s degree is preferred
California Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred
