Responsibilities

Participate in weekly business reviews; analyze store performance and inventory levels to drive sales and inventory productivity

Collaborate with Merchandising and Planning on inventory deployment strategies

Execute monthly allocation strategy meetings for initial inventory releases and in-season replenishment

Monitor core style selling trends, ensure limited out of stocks, and manage cross-channel transfers

Support inventory management between retail, ecommerce, and wholesale channels

Ensure timely execution to support New Store Openings

Develop knowledge of regional, district, and store level performance through data analysis

Visit stores to review presentation, stock content/levels, and identify issues

Work with Operations, Production partners, and DC to resolve external constraints impacting inventory flow

Partner with allocation peers and management to enhance tools and processes for financial integrity

Initiate conversations with cross-functional partners and leadership regarding risks and opportunities

Required

Bachelors degree required

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to manage, interpret and report on financial metrics such as inventory turns, forecast and inventory purchase plan reconciliation, life cycle management and style productivity

A hands-on problem solver with a willingness to work in the details and find opportunities to change processes to drive efficiency

Ability to synthesize business performance into key highlights, root cause analysis and action plans

Proven ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships and influence others

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Ability to manage multiple work streams/projects with tight timelines

Works well with ambiguity

Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail

Computer proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Outlook, Word as well as the ability to quickly master new applications and systems
