Responsibilities

Architect block level design specifications from marketing requirements and/or system requirements

Prepare detailed design documents, timing constraint files

Conduct HDL coding, equivalency checking, STA result review, CDC checks, Lint checks, RTL/gate level simulations & silicon debugging

Prepare block level resource requirements & development schedule

Generate verification & test plans for design validation

Perform design tradeoff analysis – leakage, dynamic power, die size, schedule, resource, priority, etc.

Required

Bachelors degree

8+ years of related experience

Experience in chip design enabling digital RF for 5G or high-speed fiber communication

Architecting block level design specifications from marketing requirements and/or system requirements

Preparing detailed design documents and timing constraint files

Experience in HDL coding, equivalency checking, STA result review, CDC checks, Lint checks, RTL/gate level simulations, and silicon debugging

Preparing block level resource requirements and development schedule

Generating verification and test plans for design validation

Performing design tradeoff analysis including leakage, dynamic power, die size, schedule, resource, priority, etc.
