Responsibilities

Work as a platform administrator (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) to support the needs of solutions architects and engineers.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to identify requirements for cloud-based solutions.

Design and architect cloud-based solutions for live broadcast production workflows.

Act as a subject matter expert on security standards and best practices.

Develop and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on cloud platforms.

Optimize solutions for cost, performance, and reliability.

Maintain, enhance, and improve existing cloud-based solutions.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Build complex networking infrastructure on premises.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent work experience

AWS Solutions Architect Associate or higher certification

5-7 years progressive professional experience

At least 3 years of experience in architecting, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions. These includes Live Production Platforms, Master Control, Channel Playout, and others.

Experience with architecting to NIST 800-53, SOC 2, and other security compliance standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Self-motivated and capable of working in a remote work environment

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Deep experience with Cloud Formation, Hashi Corp stack, Jira, Lucid Chart and Lucid Spark, GitHub, and other DevOps tools

Experience with third-party solutions and services commonly used in the live broadcast media and entertainment industry
