Responsibilities

Contribute to the software development life cycle (SDLC) process which includes designing, building, testing, and deploying applications to production.

Design distributed and concurrent systems using microservices, multithreading, asynchronous programming models, and event-driven programming environments.

Develop applications built on .NET Framework, .NET Core, Java, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.

Work with Kafka messaging, NoSQL, and SQL for optimized application performance.

Manage application containers and deployment to the cloud.

Troubleshoot, problem-solve complex financial software.

Work with cross-functional teams to create new components, services, reports, and APIs.

Required

Solid command of developing solutions, under minimal supervision, with personal accountability, ownership, and a keen attention to detail.

Full stack expertise - server side and UI - using web (e.g., Angular, React, Node, jQuery), and/or native (e.g., .NET, C# WinForms, Java, C++, iOS) technologies.

Proficiency with creating SQL schema, stored procedures, triggers, views, functions, and advanced performance-tuning.

Non-judgmental familiarity with operating systems (and command-line superpowers).

Knowledge of microservice architectures and developing for and deploying to cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, using Docker containers.

Effective teamwork and collaboration using tools like GitHub and Jira/Confluence.
