Responsibilities

Development Methodology: Ensuring appropriate methods and tools for planning, delivery, automation, management, and observability of systems are adopted and used effectively throughout the organization. Aligning direction and leading in the introduction and use of techniques, methodologies, and tools to ensure consistency across all user groups.

Systems Design: Assessing appropriate design standards, methods, and tools to design complex systems and ensure their effective application. Reviewing system designs to ensure the selection of appropriate technology, efficient resource use, and system integrations. Evaluating the impact of major design options, assessing and managing associated risks, and ensuring the system design balances function, service quality, fiscal responsibility, and security.

Deploying automation tools and frameworks to streamline continuous integration, delivery, deployment, and cloud management processes.

Enhancing observability platforms to optimize performance, security, and scalability.

Ensuring compliance with security policies and industry standards for CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IAC), and cloud observability.

Expertise in managing GCP and Azure infrastructure and services to deliver user-friendly, automated solutions.

Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or applicable work experience.

3+ years Cloud Devops with focus on Azure and GCP

3+ years delivering on cloud platform automation solutions

Experience with operation automation tools, e.g. Argo/Airflow/other

Experience with Kubernetes and other container tools

Extensive knowledge with CI/CD methodology

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with internal/external customers, vendors, management in both formal and informal situations.

Windows server and Linux server

Working knowledge of Ansible and Terraform

Able to prioritize and execute tasks, while demonstrating poise in a high-pressure environment.

Extremely self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.

Preferred

GCP and Azure certification

Minimal travel required (training/conferences)
