Responsibilities

Responsible for delivery oversight of all services performed and is the primary point of contact for the customer.

Ensuring all contract requirements are met.

Recommend improvements to existing processes and creating efficiencies.

Building and maintaining customer relationships.

Overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serving as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

Reviewing status of projects and budgets, managing schedules, and preparing status reports.

Assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

Developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Required

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience managing software development and data related programs.

Ability and willingness to learn about and understand the data used at CFTC.

Experience in implementing and executing an agile framework to run operations.

Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.

Experience directing and prioritizing tasks.

Ability to develop project schedules and allocate resources where needed.

Ability to manage a team of 20-25 individuals (Peraton employees and subcontractor staff).

Ability to perform Peraton administrative functions such as, participate in financial reviews, employee timesheet tracking and approvals, and invoice approvals.

Ability to present Program Management Reviews at the director and VP levels.

Ability to interact, plan, and coordinate with customers.

Knowledge and experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes.

Experience managing a program involving multiple technologies such as, C# (.Net), Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Team Foundation Server (TFS), AWS S3/Redshift, MS Azure, and Greenplum.

Experience managing varying degrees of legacy systems, and a user community that requires instant and continuous access to daily data streams.

Ensure that team members perform daily data loading and report generation checks.

Demonstrated experience implementing software development engagements in a CMMI Level 2 or above environment.

Must be a US Citizen.

Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance (Public Trust).
