Responsibilities
Works with the Senior Brand Manager to shepherd projects through the Stage-Gate process, ensuring the integrity of ideas or concepts is maintained.
Supports the team in gathering consumer insights, industry trends, and competitive intelligence to create a holistic view of the consumer.
Assists in crafting exceptional briefs to inspire creative partners and deliver concepts that surpass consumer research benchmarks.
Helps guide development work and push for new ways to address business challenges and communication objectives.
Participates in the development of launch strategies and national launch presentations in partnership with the Brand Teams.
Manages the innovation budget on a project-by-project basis and develops competency in understanding Brand P&Ls.
Demonstrates financial competency in managing project budgets and Request for Proposals.
Understands and has experience with consumer research, including interpretation of consumer data.
Has knowledge of marketing principles and the creative development process.

Required
BS/BA degree, ideally in Marketing or Communications; MBA preferred.
2-5 years of Innovation and/or brand management experience (preferably client-side).
Experience in CPG a plus, but not required.
