Responsibilities

Perform qualitative and quantitative research on the various semiconductor end markets

Correlate end use application markets with key semiconductor device market segments

Create a view of overall ≤200/300mm wafer market and relate to key device segments

Responsible for internal/external WFE views and forecasts

Keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry and related end markets being researched

Understand the needs of Onto Innovation in order to target research to their benefit

Partner with Strategic Marketing team to create annual Strategic Planning document

Create clear and useful reports and recommendations for organizational use

Communicate with CMO, IR Director, CEO, CFO, business unit leaders

Interpret markets to conclude financial recommendations

Required

BS/MS Degree, preferred technical degree with MBA

Firm grasp on the financial decision-making process

Experience collecting, interpreting and organizing data

Experience in working with external sources for industry data collection and refinement

Ability to prepare extensive reports and present findings to ONTO

Advanced speaking and report-writing skills for effective communication

Attention to details and a commitment to accuracy

Ability to keep sensitive business financial information confidential

Preferred

Working knowledge of the semiconductor industry and market is preferred
