Responsibilities

Identify safety / ergonomic concerns & implement solutions to eliminate or mitigate
Work in cross-functional teams on safety, quality, productivity, and other projects
Observe, analyze, & optimize current work methods / processes.
Identify bottle necks and improve process flow using line balancing.
Set time standards based on time studies, MTM analysis
Utilize data to develop cost and time saving recommendations and modifications to product design, line staffing, and assembly layout.
Execute Capital projects as required for larger scale projects
Develop standard work instructions to be used as training guidelines for new employees.
Communicate methods and results to management and associates.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree or greater in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably with ETO product, wiring, assembly)
Experience in creating work instructions / standard work procedures
Able to interpret or learn to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Strong oral, written communication, and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
CAD experience (AutoCAD preferred)
Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
SAP (or other ERP) experience a plus
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
