Responsibilities
Responsible for day-to-day and long-term process support and optimization in all areas of the assigned facilities.
Assist and manage active projects within Brenntag facilities, ensuring adherence to budget and project planning.
Review operating procedures and guidelines for consistent standards, modifying as necessary for improved operation and safety.
Conduct audits of manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to Brenntag standards.
Establish proficiency in business support systems and serve as a support entity for Operations.
Act as a technical resource for outside sources as needed.
Complete project work, assist with safety, compliance, and regulatory needs, and participate in audits and training.
Assist in procurement of equipment and materials, reduction of overall cost, and perform additional assigned tasks.

Required
Must have a BS in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical preferred).
Must have a minimum of 2 years relative experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Ability to oversee and manage complex service and repair work of diverse types of electrical and plant equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, sketches, and drawings.
Operate a computer and various specified software programs.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Must possess or qualify for a TWIC card.
Must successfully pass background check and drug screen.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
Must possess effective communication skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to see for purposes of reading printed matter and operating a vehicle and maintenance equipment.
Ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels.
Ability to bend, twist, sit, stoop, etc. Kneel, push, pull, crawl, etc.
Ability to occasionally lift/carry 50 lbs.
Ability to reach in all directions and work at heights.
Ability to ascend and descend a ladder.
Ability to work in outside elements for extended periods of time.
Preferred
Auto CAD and MS Vizio experience and proficiency is a plus.
