Responsibilities

Working under the supervision of the Director of Tax Technology to support the Tax department with technology needs.

Collaborating with various business units to understand the Tax department's requirements.

Consulting with tax professionals, IT teams, and software vendors.

Assisting Tax Department personnel with daily operations of tax technology platforms.

Learning Alteryx Designer and developing process automation workflows.

Acting as a liaison between IT and Tax business partners.

Creating process flow diagrams and data flow diagrams.

Analyzing technical systems, business models, and business needs.

Implementing new business technology solutions.

Producing reports on application development and implementation.

Running systems/user acceptance testing and analyzing data.

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or information management is preferred with a CPA or advanced degree a plus.

Must have at least 3+ years experience.

Tax and ERP software such as OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource State Apportionment, Corptax and SAP

Microsoft Suite including Excel, Access, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word

Experience in corporate tax compliance and/or tax accounting.

Project management or Six Sigma skills to facilitate excellent execution in tax projects is a plus.

Excellent verbal, written, communication, decision making, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Aptitude to learn technologies being introduced or developed within the company including software products such as Alteryx and SAP Business Objects
