Responsibilities

Perform Salesforce.com configuration and custom development using Salesforce.com Standard and Custom Objects, Page Layouts, Approval Processes/Workflows, Flows/Process Builder, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apex, Visual Force, and Lightning Components.
Strong knowledge of the architecture and working principles of all of the above is required.
Must be a confident, self-starter individual who can completely “own” the delivery of high value work products.
Ability to interact directly with business users and technical staff of all levels and be responsible for delivering complete work products.
Perform configuration & release management using Visual Studio Code with the Salesforce CLI and Salesforce.com Change Sets.
Apply knowledge to ensure deliverables from multiple development work threads follow robust release management disciplines and procedures.
Maintain configuration documentation in our wiki knowledge base (Atlassian’s Confluence).
In addition to standard Salesforce.com implementation, our environment includes large complex custom solutions with Force.com, and integrations with other systems like Workday, as well as, custom solutions developed in .Net, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Business Intelligence/Analytics tools. Our main org implementation supports over 700 internal and thousands of external portal/community users. The opportunity exists to grow into an enterprise-level technical architect.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
A minimum of 1 year of Salesforce.com experience, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a software development/information technology environment are required.
Strong knowledge of Agile SDLCs, Object-Oriented Programming, and systems engineering principles is required.
Strong programming experience and knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SFDC programming languages (Apex, Visual Force, etc.) is required.
Experience with Salesforce.com development in a multi-tiered release environment, including hands-on configuration and release management experience is required.
Experience with Salesforce.com administration including security principles (using profiles, roles, permission sets, public groups, and queues), business process automation (workflows, process builder, flows, and approval processes), reports & dashboards, and standard/custom objects/fields is required.

Preferred

Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript libraries (ex. Lodash, Vue.js, Pinia, Vuetify, Google Maps, Google Charts, etc.) a plus, but not required.
Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.) a plus, but not required.
Experience with Salesforce.com Communities / Experience Cloud a plus, but not required.
Lightning Experience, Lightning Aura and Web Component development a plus, but not required.
Financial Services Industry experience is desirable, but not required.
Formal certifications like Salesforce.com Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce.com Certified Administrator/Advanced Administrator, etc. are preferable.
