Responsibilities
Perform the full range of project management cycle: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing. Independently lead and direct projects requiring high levels of functional integration and involving multiple disciplines to be managed. This position will present strategic project proposals to leadership in the WellMD and WellPhD programs, initiating projects and report out efforts.
Direct development of an action plan, and estimate requirements for resources, including management, labor, materials, and time required to complete project.
Facilitate discussions and negotiations to drive recommendation consensus. Navigate complicated and unique situations across the Stanford Medicine Enterprise. Requires ability to think creatively in nuanced situations and lead discussion in real-time to favorable outcomes for all stakeholders.
Develop and help execute comprehensive change management strategy and communication plan relative to project scope and stakeholders; orchestrate and lead change management methodologies underlying project success. Identify, engage with and create aligned plans with all levels of stakeholders for each unique project.
Complete all components of project management including scope identification, stakeholder communication planning and management, risk-manage, control and report on risk associated with complicated projects, synthesize complex technical data and drive decisions.

Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years relevant experience or a combination of education and experience
Experience in management of projects with extensive size/complexity and moderate performance risk, including project planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting
PMP and Six Sigma certifications
Experience working in an organization with Lean Management principles
Certificates in Project Management, Change Management or related area
Highly effective written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences
Ability to productively assemble, engage, and lead cross-functional teams
Demonstrated project management ability to employ integration, scope time management, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement components
Demonstrated change management and user adoption
Ability to balance customer expectations with project reality
Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem-solving skills in a variety of situations
Keen grasp of interpersonal and impact awareness
Depth of knowledge in technical discipline/domain needed to deliver projects
Preferred
Executive presence, able to partner and build relationships, negotiate, and influence stakeholders across the Medicine Enterprise
Ability to coordinate multiple projects and prioritize key initiatives for the WellMD WellPhD programs
Effective presenting/training large groups and facilitating meetings with multiple parties at the table
Demonstrate organizational and cultural savvy

Outstanding communication, report writing, and presentation skills
