Responsibilities
Work on fast-paced, autonomous, agile teams to build and enhance a growing software platform
Actively participate in ensuring Cohere maintains a disciplined approach to healthcare security
Building software to help DevOps, ITOps & Security
Fixing support escalation issues, partner with engineer on call and make sure prod issues are resolved according to the SLA
Optimizing on-call rotations & processes
Documenting “tribal” knowledge and prod support run book

Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development lifecycle, required
Experience programming in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
Prior hands-on experience building data services and APIs, required
Prior experience in SRE roles, working with high traffic applications, required
Experience with algorithms and data structures or Unix/Linux systems internals (e.g., filesystems, system calls) and administration, required
Experience architecting, developing, and troubleshooting systems, required
You have experience working on software development teams, building and deploying data infrastructure and products
You are a team player and are interested in working at a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred
Prior experience in healthcare and life sciences is a plus, but is not required
