Responsibilities
Automation System Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for various processes in semiconductor back-end manufacturing, including AOI systems, electrical and mechanical automation, and robotics integration.
Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for equipment automation and optimization. Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce cycle times, and improve overall efficiency.
Project Management: Lead automation projects from conception to completion, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder communication. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and R&D, to identify automation requirements, gather feedback, and ensure successful implementation of automation solutions.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Provide technical support for automation systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime.
Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation, including specifications, operating procedures, and training materials, to support the deployment and maintenance of automation systems. Train end-users and technical staff on the operation and maintenance of automation equipment.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation engineering. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation capabilities, processes, and systems.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in automation engineering, with a focus on electrical, mechanical automation, robotics, AOI systems, and project management.
Understanding of semiconductor back-end processes and equipment, including wire bonding, die attach, packaging, and testing.
Proficiency in automation software and programming languages, such as PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Siemens, Allen Bradley. SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems), Ladder Logic, Python, C/C++, etc.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues and propose innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.
