Responsibilities
Collaborate with a team of product managers and Oracle Sales
Prioritize and translate business requirements to products
Create a variety of assets, including tutorials, eBooks, infographics, videos, training courses, certification exams
Write or review business requirements, storyboards, videos, or user stories
Effectively communicate product strategy and functionality to customers, consultants, and marketing
Understand core technologies utilized in the product domain and is fluent in pros and cons of technical alternatives
Listen to customers and understand their needs for a service
Develop user stories while working with product and development teams
Author documents that identify and detail benefits and value of products or solutions
Effective presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences
Understand and exercise technical tradeoffs and opportunity costs and make quick, business decisions

Required
US Veteran transitioning from active service or active duty Military Spouse new to corporate experience preferred.
BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area or related field preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Windows. Any experience with Linux or UNIX command line, system configuration, scripting, applications, database installations or performance troubleshooting a plus
Understanding of software development principles and methodologies
Conceptual knowledge of technologies such as: XML, HTML, CSS, CGI, PHP, REST, JSON, Python, Terraform, Cloud, Network or Systems Management or Database Management
Strong English writing and communication skills
Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
Ability to work independently and self-learn, with guidance as needed. Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
Basic database management skills are a plus
Possess a degree or certificate in software/computer engineering, computer science, technical business or other technical fields.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
