They are seeking Electrical Engineering students to join their cooperative education program, providing valuable professional work experience and mentorship in building design and consulting engineering.
Design
Responsibilities
Become acclimated to the consulting engineering workplace, legal codes, design concepts, and improve skills in the daily utilization of AutoCAD and Revit
Work alongside professionals in their degree fields as well as in interdisciplinary teams
Discuss skills and goals with their mentor to maximize their experience
Become familiar with codes and calculations and work more independently on projects in AutoCAD and Revit
Review shop drawing submittals, design layouts, and complete calculations
Qualification
Required
Electrical Engineering student
Passion for building design
Ability to work alongside professionals in degree fields
Familiarity with legal codes and design concepts
Skills in daily utilization of AutoCAD and Revit
Willingness to learn through observation, instruction, and experience
Ability to network with other co-op students and industry leaders
Ability to ask questions and learn from professionals
Preferred
Attendance at Colorado School of Mines or another university with a Cooperative Education Program
