Responsibilities
Establish, foster, and strengthen relationships with targeted government customers.
Function as the account lead and integrate into customers' daily operations.
Champion the company's technology and capabilities.
Develop and implement marketing and business plans for identified targets.
Contribute to new competitive proposals.
Identify new market opportunities and maintain opportunities in company pipeline tools.
Develop customer relationships and stay updated on customer plans and market intelligence.
Collaborate with internal marketing and engineering departments.
Ensure successful customer experience from start to finish.
Push capabilities out to the customer and track delivery dates.
Support identifying, pursuing, and capturing new business opportunities within the Department of Defense (DoD).
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required
Security Clearance: A current Secret clearance is required; U.S. Citizenship required.
9+ years in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with a B.A. in Business, a technical field, or related; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
Must have prior government or military experience with any of the following organizations: MARFORCYBER, DCSA, DISA, Army Cyber, U.S. Cyber Command, Coast Guard Cyber Command, U.S. Air Force (AFCYBER), or 10TH Fleet / Navy Cyber.
Prior experience with either directly providing Defensive Cyber Security or managing a contract that supported this work.
Experience directly managing complex technical projects and or programs.
Understands budget practices and acquisitions shop with the organizations or has relationships with people who do.
Strong computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Understanding of customer buying teams and how to sell to individual influencers.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with others. Ability to speak in a public forum.
Excellent interviewing skills including active listening and empathy.
Will participate in the full lifecycle of Business Development, including proposal support, staffing, opportunity identification, bid / no-bid analysis, RFI / Market Responses, etc.
Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work on-site in Washington, DC 2-3 days a week as needed.
Ability and willingness to travel CONUS when needed.
Preferred
Experience with Software Engineering, Cloud Technologies and Cyber Security.
Technical background strong enough to determine system requirements and work closely with engineering and management to ensure accurate design and estimating would be an asset, but not required.
Any previous BDP experience is a huge plus.
DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required in this position as directed by the customer.
