Responsibilities
Develop chemical processes for materials to meet application, product, and customer requirements.
Work closely with engineers and technicians on the team to operate pilot-scale dispersion and high temperature processing equipment.
Develop SOPs and spec limits for customer-specific applications.
Identify and champion process improvements and work with external vendors to design equipment when commercial solutions do not exist.
Troubleshoot out of spec lots and modify experimental procedures as needed.
Have excellent verbal and communication skills.
Always observe all safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.
Analyze materials and associated characterization data.

Required
Bachelor’s in Engineering or Physical Sciences (Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics)
Minimum of 3 years of industry experience
Must be a US person to be considered
Preferred
Master’s in Engineering
Hands-on experience with high-temperature equipment (furnaces, fluidized beds, kilns)
Hands-on experience with making slurries and dispersions
Hands-on experience with handling and processing of powders
